Why I use it

I appreciate Drupal 9 because it validated Drupal's shift toward continuous improvement. Upgrades became more predictable, allowing teams to spend less time preparing for major platform changes and more time delivering new functionality.

How I use it

Drupal 9 built directly on the architectural foundation established in Drupal 8 while removing deprecated code and encouraging continuous modernization. Rather than introducing sweeping architectural changes, it demonstrated the success of Drupal's new release strategy by allowing organizations to upgrade with significantly less disruption.

My work with Drupal 9 focused on helping organizations modernize existing platforms, upgrade custom code, and adopt development practices that simplified future upgrades. This included Composer-based dependency management, configuration management, automated deployments, and improved development workflows.

For clients, Drupal 9 represented a smoother upgrade path and reinforced the value of investing in maintainable architecture rather than periodic platform rewrites.
